July 15, the Riptec 20GWh power battery project, located in the New
energy Industrial Park in Liudong New District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi
Province, achieved the scheduled progress half a year ahead of schedule
and was officially put into operation. According to reports, REPT Power
Battery Co., Ltd. is a joint venture built by Liuzhou Secke Technology
Development Co., LTD., a subsidiary of SAIC Motor, and RIPU Energy, a
subsidiary of Tsingshan Industry
According to the information
that Liuzhou REPT's annual output of 20GWh power battery system project
was officially signed in March 2022, and construction began in October
of the same year, and it was put into production in July this year.
In
the Q1 of 2023, REPT Battery ranked third in global energy storage
battery shipments, and the first and second were CATL and BYD, with
shipments exceeding 3GWh. In whole 2022, REPT battery shipments were
16.61GWh. Since its establishment, REPT Battery has been regarded as a
"dark horse" in the industry. In 2020, REPT battery is still a lithium
battery enterprise with revenue of less than 1 billion yuan; In 2022,
REPT Battery has become a large enterprise with revenue of more than
14.6 billion yuan.
Under the "dual carbon" goal, energy
transformation and upgrading have accelerated, and the energy storage
industry has ushered in explosive growth. REPT Battery currently has
considerable orders in hand, in order to meet the needs of customers in
the global market, has been increasing production capacity. Not only the
layout of Wenzhou, Foshan, Liuzhou, Jiashan and other production bases,
but also recently signed an annual output of 30GWh cell and PACK
project in Chongqing, continue to improve the domestic lithium battery
capacity planning. In addition, due to the back of Qingshan Industry,
the supply of upstream resources is stable, so that REPT battery
acceleration of production expansion is full of confidence.

Hui, chairman of REPT Battery, said that REPT Battery set the goal of
global power battery enterprises TOP4 and market share of 10% in 2025,
and 2026 annual production capacity will be all over the country and
overseas, and establish R & D and production centers in Shanghai,
Wenzhou, Foshan, Liuzhou, Southwest and other places; Overseas layout
will give priority to Europe, Southeast Asia customers
