second phase of the comprehensive utilization of waste lithium batteries
of Jilin Tieyang Shengri Cycle Technology Co., Ltd. was officially
launched recently. The total investment of the second phase of the
project is 200 million yuan, the land area is 49,000 square meters, the
total construction area is 23,000 square meters, and the annual
treatment of waste lithium batteries is 20,000 tons(total compacity is
60,000 tons annually)
Jilin Tieyang Shengri Cycle Technology Co.,
Ltd. is the first high-tech enterprise identified in Yanbian Prefecture,
and is also the first Sino-foreign joint venture to obtain battery
recycling related qualifications in China. It was established in 2017
with a registered capital of 80 million yuan. It is jointly invested by
Tianjin Tieyang Trading Co., LTD., South Korea SungEel HiTech, Tianjin
Tieyang New Energy Technology Group Co., LTD.
The company has the
advanced one-stop physical separation, decomposition and raw material
recovery technology introduced from South Korea, the active components
of various lithium batteries are non-destructive decomposition and clean
purification, and then deep processing to form industrial raw
materials, such as graphite, copper, aluminum, iron, nickel, cobalt,
manganese, etc. The green recycling of lithium-ion battery industry from
"raw materials" to "raw materials" has been realized, and the recovery
rate of recycled raw materials has reached 99%. The first phase of the
8000 tons of battery recycling production line has been completed and
reached production, and the completion acceptance will be completed in
2021.
At the same time, the company is currently the only one in the
three Northeast provinces in China selected by the Ministry of Industry
and Information Technology "New energy vehicle waste power battery
comprehensive utilization industry standard conditions" of recycling
enterprises, which means the recycling white list enterprises. As an
important waste power battery distribution base and control hub in
Northeast China, the company will be more convenient and fast to carry
out business with new energy vehicle manufacturers, especially car
enterprises in Northeast China, such as Changchun FAW and BMW
Brilliance.
At present, there are still few decommissioned power
battery recycling enterprises in northeast China. In addition to Jilin
Tieyang Sheng Day Cycle Technology Co., LTD., there is also anther 2nd
life battery company in China government white list in Northeast China -
Fuao Smart Energy Technology Co., LTD., which is also located in Jilin
Province.
