Global Li-ion Battery Post Market Ecological Development Summit 2022
China INTL EV Grid Summit 2022
Organizer:Global Decision Maker Management Consulting LTD(GDMMC)
Co-organizer:Zhejiang Huayou Recycling technology ltd
Support Unit:Jiangsu Huayou Energy technology ltd
Title Sponsor: Zhejiang Huayou Recycling Technology Ltd
Data showed that more than 4.22 million Electrical vehicles were sold globally in the first half of 2022, Among them, 2.6 million EV were sold in China, with a market penetration rate of 21.6%,technological progress is promoting EV with longer range, faster charging and replacement, smarter driving and more perfect supporting facilities, constantly improving the travel experience of EV users
In addition, China is the largest market for power batteries. Power battery installation in China grew at a compound annual growth rate of 43.5% between 2017 and 2021, reaching 154.5GWh in 2021. From January to March 2022, the installed volume of power batteries in China accumulated 51.3GWh, a cumulative increase of 120.7% year on year. With the rapid growth of the penetration rate of new energy vehicles, the rapid development of the industrial chain and the effective control of the epidemic, China's power battery market will continue to grow, and the total installed capacity of power batteries is expected to reach 299.9 GWh in 2022.
At the same time, with the rapid upgrading of 3C electronics and the rapid and wide application of power battery energy storage, lithium battery after-market development prospects are broad.
The power demand caused by EV charging load may cause great burden to the power system. As EVs become more widespread, the impact on the power system is likely to increase. At the same time, EVs are also highly flexible mobile energy storage units, which have great potential in adjusting electricity load, improving power quality, absorbing renewable energy, and helping to reduce the expansion demand of the distribution network and even the whole network
